Baby Bassinet Cake

Pink and white baby bassinet cake. I had less that 24 hours to make this cake. I had hand modeled a few teddy bears a month before, so that was one less thing to worry with. The top is made of sugar paste or gum paste as some call it. The rest is fondant.

I procrastinated and did not start a website or blog when I started my flickr account so I was unable to get the name I wanted. I will be working on this blog so please check back often. You will see all kinds of cakes on this blog. From birthday cakes, weddings, showers, gothic and even eroctic
( female and male body parts). I will be posting my guitar cakes soon also. I am a southern girl, I live in North Carolina. I am 30 minutes from Charlotte.
